Bernard Movers moved me into my first apartment after living in a single family home for 30+ years. They packed everything carefully and efficiently--clothes, antique furniture, crystal, dishes, you name it. The four guys (Kevin, Harold, Skip and "Shaggy") worked well together and with me--if I heard once that they were there to help ME and make my move easy, I heard it a dozen times--from each of them. The price was explained to me and even with the extras I added was extremely reasonable. I can't recommend this company highly enough

First the very friendly customer service rep. quoted me a price which was hundreds of dollars less than the competition, then John, Chuck and Harold show up and move everything fast and also carefully (nothing damaged) and they moved it under the quoted time, great guys, great service : ) Will recommend to everyone i know - gleb m

The service was fantastic. The guys managed to move mine and my girlfriend's stuff into an apartment on the fourth floor when the freight elevator was broken. The guys were very kind and respectful. Keystian, Skip, and Hernand helped me out (I'm pretty sure those were their names), and they were fantastic. Ask for them. They're great guys and they were a huge help. I highly recommend moving with Bernard

I recently moved with Bernard and would definitely recommend them. First, Lynn was a pleasure to talk to and throughly reviewed all aspects of the move with me. Second, they delivered what they promised - overdelivered, really with three guys and large truck to move me from a studio to a one bedroom. Third, the movers were efficient, cautious, and friendly, to boot. They checked with me on several items they had questions about before they attempted to move anything and they took extra precautions to ensure that my fragile pieces were well cared for during the trip. These guys were great--quick, professional, friendly, and did not bawk at the idea of wrapping furniture themselves, or even taking a couple of pieces apart themselves before loading it. I would recommend them to anyone

Hi - I recently moved out of a hi-rise using Bernard's... Lynne helped me set up the move. Very nice lady, former owner. Four guys helped me with my move, Chuck, Bud, Ray, John. John is the head guy who drives the truck, the other guys all have assigned roles. They don't show up in matching tee shirts or jackets, so if that's what you want, look elsewhere. If you want good movers, read on. These were experienced, nice guys, but there appearance may be a little rough around the edges to some people. Don't judge a book by its cover... They came in to my apartment, told me "we'll take care of you. We're going to do a real nice job for you." And they did. They worked fast and hard. wrapped what needed to be wrapped, and packed it all up quick. I was able to observe them better when we unloaded. They worked very hard. John & Ray were really pushing to move fast and get to certain items. That was their job, to push hard. Chuck & Bud had to be concerned with the minutiae, organizing, and making sure things were safe & unbroken. it was a nice balance. they had no idea what I was going to tip them until after the work was done. I gave them a generous tip, they were very appreciative, and asked me to request them if I ever moved again. These guys worked their butts off and were looking to do it again. Really nice guys in my experience. I treated them with respect and they returned it. Highly recommend

I just moved the Saturday before Thanksgiving and I want to thank Ken and his other three crew members for the Great Job they did in moving me ! I have been ill for a year and off work the last several months, thus, things I usually have ready when movers arrive were not completed this time. I was feeling badly when they came, which was by the way, the exact time they were scheduled. However, they quickly made me feel good and there was not anything they would not do for me and always with a great attitude. What could have been a stressful day turned out to be very good day with a great group of guys. I really appreciated their attention to detail and the way they would check with me if something did not seem quite right to them, rather than just ignore and do things the easiest way for them, as has been my experience with many other moving companies. We all worked hard but still managed to have some fun as well. I think this is the first time I actually hugged my movers when they left. Thanks to them I was so organized that I was able have my family to my new home for Thanksgiving Dinner !!

I moved from a second story condo with no elevator. The day before my move I needed to change the arrangements to have the items moved to storage. Lynne, the former owner took care of everything including making sure an extra guy would be there to help with the move (after I realized I had more thinngs than I thought). The crew showed up within the time frame given, they were friendly, professional, fast, and took a great deal of care with my things. Lynne was very detailed about any potential charge prior to the move. The charge for the service was extremely reasonable and actually ended up being a little less than the estimate. My family and I were amazed at how efficient John's team was at doing a quick evaluation to decide how they would move the things from the various parts of the house, communicating with one another, and then getting them moved. Unloading the items in storage was just as smooth and efficient. I would highly recommend this team of guys!

We looked around for a good mover after friends had bad experiences with others. We found Bernard Movers on Google and did not set our expectations very high. We were pleasantly surprised when the crew arrived on time, took great care of our stuff and kept the process going at a steady pace. We moved 9/27/08 from the top of a three flat in the city to a condo in suburbs, with a stop at another house to store some extras. Ralph, Paul and Perry made up our crew. We highly recommend this crew and Bernard Movers based on our experience.

Bernard Movers is hands-down the greatest moving company in Miami. Their guys were fast and also, really careful with my furniture. They picked up my stuff from Ikea, held it overnight, delivered it, and put it together! Bernard Movers made moving easy! They were so nice and accommodating, I only wish I could move more often!
